Your privacy.
Clearly explained.

Who this policy covers

This policy describes this States X website and communications sent to the project. Privacy questions can be sent to admin@statesx.com.

Information you choose to share

When you submit the video topic form, your browser sends the information you enter to this website’s server over HTTPS. The server validates the submission and forwards it by email to admin@statesx.com. This may include your optional name and email address, video topic, category, source link, and message. The form does not require an account. The form handler does not create a submissions database; messages are processed through the website’s hosting and email providers and may be stored in the project’s email account. Hosting providers may also retain technical request logs.

Information you send may be used to consider video topic suggestions, respond to your inquiry, handle corrections or rights requests, and maintain relevant correspondence. Do not send confidential or sensitive personal information.

Website hosting and technical data

The hosting and email providers serving this website may process technical information such as IP addresses, request data, and browser details to deliver and protect the website and transmit submissions. The contact form includes an anti-spam field and validates the content of submissions. The website’s own code does not require visitor sign-in.

Cookies, storage, and analytics

The website’s own code does not set advertising cookies, use browser storage, or include third-party analytics scripts. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which causes your browser to contact Google when a page loads; technical request information such as your IP address and browser headers may be processed to deliver those fonts. The hosting platform and video providers may have their own technical processing and cookie practices.

YouTube videos and external links

Video thumbnails are served as local website assets. An embedded YouTube player is loaded only after you choose to play a video. The player uses YouTube’s privacy-enhanced embed domain; this does not mean that playback is anonymous or involves no data processing. Loading or interacting with the player sends technical information to YouTube and its service providers.

Links to YouTube, Google, and other websites take you to services with their own policies. See the Google Privacy Policy and OpenAI Privacy Policy for those services.

Sharing and retention

The site has no visitor advertising or data-sale feature. Email communications are handled through email service providers. Relevant information may be shared where needed to address your request or meet a legal obligation. Correspondence should be kept only as long as needed for its purpose and applicable obligations.

Your choices

You can browse without sending a message and choose not to load embedded videos. To ask about personal information you sent to States X, or request access, correction, or deletion, contact admin@statesx.com. Available rights depend on applicable law and the circumstances of the request.

Children and updates

The site is intended for a general audience and does not request information from children. If you believe a child has sent personal information, contact the project. This policy may be updated when the website’s functionality changes; the date above identifies the latest revision.
